Tuscany Tours - Must See Places In Tuscany Italy

If you are thinking about going on a vacation to Italy, there are so many incredible places to see. But although there are many sights to enjoy, let's focus on the Tuscany tours of Italy. They are some of the most beautiful architecture you will ever come upon. It is in Tuscany that you can enjoy the most exquisite, breathtaking architecture in the world.

There are six places in Tuscany that are UNESCO protected sites. What does that mean? That these places are protected by the international World Heritage Program. Recognized as places for outstanding culture, they are protected. Consider that there are just 851 sites in the entire world that are protected. When you go on your Tuscany tours vacation, you can enjoy 6 of them.

Some of these protected sites include the centers in Siena, Penza, Florence, and San Gimignano. There is also the Val d'Orcia, and the square of the Cathedral of Pisa. You might more readily know it as the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

You can find the Duomo Cathedral in Siena... it is illustrative of the great Italian Romanesque culture. While you are in Florence, you must also see Santa Maria del Flore, another magnificent piece of architecture. There is an amazing old bridge in Florence called the Ponche Vencho Bridge. The old bridge has shops built alongside it, and it is held up by stilts.

And then we come to San Gimignano, the little town atop a hill. This town is walled and is well known for its medieval architecture. It has 14 towers that you can see from miles.

The 14 towers have withstood wars, and major disaster and has still kept is beautiful towers as works of art, which you will be able to see on your Tuscany tours. Then there is Val d'Orcia, protected for its quaint little villages and the beautiful rolling hills. You shouldn't leave Italy without visiting this place once.
